Six by the Sea is a three-bedroom bungalow featuring a large driveway and a spacious garden.

Step back into the re-imagined 1960s at Six by the Sea, a sun-drenched vintage bungalow located just moments from the sea and the diverse attractions of both Whitstable and Tankerton. The bungalow features a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, and a single bedroom, along with an open-plan living and dining area, and separate toilet and bathroom facilities. The outdoor space is ideal for entertaining, boasting a large driveway and a very generous garden with two distinct seating areas.

Accommodation
Six by the Sea retains its original mid-century charm and is furnished to reflect its heritage, while providing 21st-century comforts. Upon entering through the front door, you’ll be greeted by a spacious reception hall that leads to three comfortable bedrooms (one king-size, one double, and one single), a sun-drenched living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, and separate toilet and bathroom facilities, including an over-bath shower.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Whitstable’s High Street by unwinding in Six by the Sea’s fully enclosed, south-facing garden, complete with a large decking area and comfortable seating and dining spaces.

Take advantage of the off-road parking available for up to three cars; a significant bonus in Whitstable.
The beach is conveniently located just across the road from the bungalow, allowing you to easily return for lunch and enjoy another swim afterwards! Whitstable Castle, with its lovely gardens, play park, and charming tearoom, is also within a two-minute walk and visible from the driveway. A stroll along the promenade will lead you to the harbour and town at one end and the scenic Tankerton Slopes at the other. The town offers an abundance of restaurants and boutiques where you can sample local delicacies and purchase beautiful souvenirs.
There is off street parking for 3 cars.

There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Tankerton Road, Harbour Street, High Street etc. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre

FAQ

You may arrive at your property after 3pm. You will receive the arrival instructions prior to your stay. If you arrive early, you may be able to leave your bags inside the property. Please contact us to check if this is possible. Please vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.

Please respect the property and local area you are staying in, do not litter, waste energy or water, and take every effort to guard against fire and damage. Please also be conscientious to the neighbours and local people, especially in regards to noise.

Cleaning and laundry will be at no extra charge. Please leave the property as you found it.

Property descriptions give the maximum number of guests allowed to stay. Babies in cots are not included in the guest amounts.

All utilities are provided at no extra charge and information will be provided at each property regarding this, for example the availability of hot water. Please do not change the settings on any of the services. If you are experiencing difficulties please contact us.

If you have any special requirements, such as disabled or elderly guests or children please advise us when booking and we will advise you accordingly as to which properties would be suitable and if there is anything we can do to make their stay easier.

Smoking or vaping is not allowed at any of the properties.

There is an information folder inside the properties which provide local information, instructions on how to use equipment in the house, emergency telephone numbers, waste collection details, plus information on local attractions and transport.

Properties either have private parking, free street parking or paid car parks. Please read the property description in regards to the available parking or we will be able to advise you as to where it is best to park. However parking cannot be guaranteed and we accept no responsibility for vehicles left.

Please separate landfill and recycling into the bins provided. These will be collected weekly, see information folder for details.

Bed linen and bath towels are included free of charge. Beach towels are not provided.

A deposit of 30% of the total charge is required upon booking to reserve the property. There will be no security deposit taken on arrival at the property, however you pay a Damage Waiver when booking.

Some properties accommodate pets and this will be made clear under the individual property details. You cannot leave your dog unattended in the property. Do not let your dog upstairs or on the furniture and make sure you clear up any mess from the garden.

Upon your arrival please familiarise yourself with the exits and location and operating procedures of any fire extinguishers or blankets. Keep pets and children away from balconies, stairs, water features and open fires, making sure they are supervised at all times. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished before leaving the property or going to bed. Advise us immediately if anything is broken or you are experiencing any issues.

If you have any complaints please contact us or the owner straight away. Do not wait until you get home otherwise we cannot be given the chance to rectify any issues. Once we are aware of a problem we will do our best to help.
